In an interesting and beneficial turn of events for 21-year-old producer PrototypeRaptor, this 7 month old track has just gotten an amazing amount of attention this week thanks to it being picked up by music blog Et Musique Pour Tous, who sent it skyrocketing on the Hype Machine charts, all the way to the number 1 spot, where it currently stands. With only a small following of just over 1200 fans on Facebook, PrototypeRaptor could definitely use (and deserves) the increased awareness. His song, self-admitted as inspired by Mr. Mord Fustang himself, brings us that same awesome sound we’ve come accustomed to, but have been missing, from the Estonian electro producer. The most impressive thing about PrototypeRaptor is that, unlike Fustang’s current offerings, his style is very variable and adaptable, as a quick assessment of his SoundCloud should show you. The least impressive thing: his name. But what does a name matter when you can produce like this?
As a bonus, here’s his remix of Pendulum’s “Fasten Your Seatbelt”, which shows you what different sounds this producer is capable of. This, my friends, is an electro/dubstep banger.

Be sure to up this guy’s numbers on Facebook, support his track on Hype Machine, and check out more music and free downloads on his SoundCloud (there’s a lot).
