Wether you love it or you hate it, trap music is popular and there has been an unstoppable wave of new music in this genre on a daily basis. This bootleg by ETC! ETC! and Brillz is a prime example of what I find to be a great trap song.
Taking Pharoahe Monch (Troy Jammerson) hood anthem and throwing in a whole bunch of snares and big 808 claps, ETC! ETC! and Brillz have boot legged Pharoahe Monch’s “Simon Says”, a song that really captures the theme of trap music, and makes you want to get the fuck up. I know it is difficult to keep up with the amount of trap music being produced, it may be because of its simple design but there are a ton of emerging “bedroom producers” that really cloud out a lot of the good stuff. Certainly keep an eye on Brillz and ETC!ETC! their other releases have been really on point and can be a very good addition to any DJ who would like to introduce their crowd to a new type of music.
