This week, we are blessed with the good fortune of a Maceo Plex release, his first on Hot Creations in a good bit of time. On this lovely occasion we enjoy a much-anticipated remix of Butch Ft. Benjamin Franklin- Highbeams, a track that Mr. Estronel (Maceo Plex, Maetrik) has been featuring in many of his sets since this past fall. This remix of Butch features an airy mix of electro-splashed deep house that we’ve more or less come to expect from the Maceo Plex moniker, in addition to a catchy vocal sample from Benjamin Franklin. Go out and buy this one because it will become a welcome addition to your arsenal. Also be sure to immerse yourself in the music of Maceo Plex/ Maetrik, he is one of the best deep/tech producers out there right now.
