PACES Latest Mixtape Showcases The Pact EP

Despite all the times I’ve written about Australian producer PACES here on this blog and his increasing recognition throughout the Gold Coast, he still remains an unknown to many. Too many. With the wave of producers like Flume and Ta-Ku out of the same corner of the world making waves worldwide, it’s surprising that PACES hasn’t gained quite as much traction, for his sound is similar and at times better than theirs. Last week, PACES released his debut EP The Pact which, to my disappointment, was not free like the majority of his releases thus far but is stellar work through and through. I’ve listened to the EP teaser enough times to have it memorized and plan on purchasing my copy of the EP very soon via iTunes. He just put out his latest mix, however, which gives everyone a taste of his unique style, as well as all the songs from the EP. If you’re looking for more PACES, be sure to check out my post on his Hey Sippy/Let You In release, his Introductions mixtape and, of course, his SoundCloud. He’s got less than 700 followers… You can say you heard it here first!
