I have always associated the dog days of summer with BONES‘ The Deep End mix series since he dropped the first in the series just over a year ago. The LA-based DJ and occasional producer is not only one of the masterminds behind arguably the most respectable music blog of its kind Gotta Dance Dirty and the resident DJ at Avalon & Dim Mak Studios, host to some of the hottest acts in the City of Angels, but he has also been a longtime friend to us here at MMIBTY and consistently blown us away with his live sets and mixes. BONES just got added to both days of HARD Summer and coupled that humble announcement with the release of this fourth installment of The Deep End featuring some of our favorite tracks from the past few months like Torren Foot’s “Rondo”, Marlon Hoffstadt & Dansson’s “Shake That” and Justin Martin & Eats Everything‘s “The Gettup” as well as a handful of funky and deep tracks sure to become new favorites.
