This girl is without a doubt on my goal list of artists to see perform live. Besides the fact that Ellie has a dope fashion sense and awesome personality from what I can tell from all of her social media outlets, she’s someone that is constantly getting such positive feedback and love from both fans and other artists. Ellie Goulding just recently debuted her new single called “Burn”, and although it’s not the classic sound we usually hear from her, it’s still obviously a great track if she had anything to do with it. This one’s a lot more mainstream-electronic-pop sounding and its got that summery feel to it that I love. An interesting fact about it is that it was apparently originally intended for Leona Lewis to sing, but Ellie seemed to be the better candidate. I approve. In other news, Ellie‘s most recent album “Halcyon” is not out of the light just yet, because on August 27th, she’ll be releasing a new companion piece to “Halcyon” called, “Halcyon Days”. This new and improved album is comprised with 10 new tracks including “Burn”, as well as some hot collaborations with artists like the young Madeon and Fun.‘s, Nate Reuss. I’m sure as hell excited about it, I don’t know about you. Be on the look out for the announced date for the pre-order of the album that should be coming out soon!
