A couple years back, right around the same time I became aware of one of my all time favorite electro producers Overwerk, I also started listening Swedish electro producer¬†Rasmus Hermansen, better known as F.O.O.L. (Fuck Our Ordinary Lives). It’s easy to draw a parallel between the two: they are both still consistently producing a genre that is heard less and less these days (or, better yet, is muddled by housectrorance) and doing it extremely well. Not to mention giving most of their music away for free and still being rather under the rader. F.O.O.L. recently released a brand new original via his SoundCloud called “Tutorials” and it represents everything I expect from the producer. The release is likely intended to hype his forthcoming¬†Feelings EP, set to drop on August 5, for which I have included the preview below. “Tutorials” starts off with his familiar orchestral synth sound building into a complex and uplifting electro drop. It’s another great release from the Swede and has me rightfully excited for his EP.
