The good people over at Project Drop, The Oxford Group and Crush Boston have teamed up to bring some of UK’s most notorious dubstep heavyweights to Rumor Boston this coming Tuesday, December 3 as part of the Dub Police North American Tour. While dubstep has certainly fallen out of the spotlight compared with its notoriety a few years ago, Caspa & Trolley Snatcha have long been known for bringing old school, authentic dub and not messing about with that new age stuff. Perhaps Caspa’s most well recognized tracks, his remix of buddy Rusko’s “Cockney Thug” and his original release “Where’s My Money,” sum this mentality up perfectly. I had the opportunity to see him play at Wavefront Music Festival back over the summer and he truly made me question why I hardly listen to dubstep anymore.
