Review: Flosstradamus @ Terminal 5 12/6/13

The Plurnt Gods made their way to the “Big Apple” last weekend on their IRL tour and caused quite the raucous at Terminal 5….

On a very rainy night in New York City, trap-a-holics made their way to the three tiered venue, wet and ready to go.

The ground level was packed while the #BeenTrill crew warmed up the stage. As you made your way up to the second and third level, Floss fans were getting amp’d up, practically falling over the banisters.

As #BeenTrill’s set was finishing, you saw the full effect of the Flosstradamus stage: A huge, trippy, Grateful-Dead inspired mural featuring warning sign patterns that they have patented at their logo, their very own simulated grown-ops on both sides of the DJ booth, and enough strobe lights to ruin an epileptics day.

There is a reason that Mad Decent head honcho, Diplo, does not like to play after Flosstradamus has taken the stage (watch the MDBP 2013 recap video). The bottom line is, They turn the fuck up. A solid hour and a half of pure mayhem featuring tracks like, “Roll Up” (Baauer remix), Major Lazer – “Original Don” (Flosstradamus VIP remix), “Piss Test”, JWLS – “JWLS is Bored pt. III“, and “Infinite Daps” by RL Grime & Baauer.

To top off the night, Floss played an encore with their upcoming single “Mosh Pit,” that literally had everyone in the crowd getting wild in the mosh pit.

If Flosstradamus comes to your town, do yourself the favor and just go!
