That’s right – the man who made your booty clap is coming to make his debut in Boston this Friday at Naga in Cambridge. I think it’s safe to say Kill Frenzy‘s “Booty Clap” was one of the biggest tracks of 2012, with an infectious Booty Bass House beat and a repeating “Make that booty clap” vocal hook. The track shook dance floors across the globe and was even used in the recap video for the maiden voyage of Holy Ship. But Kill Frenzy certainly isn’t a one-hit wonder, nor is he new to the art of getting behind the decks and rocking dance floors. Songs like “For the Ladies”, “Naked Piano”, and “Black Girls White Girls” are all heavy-hitters from the Belgium native (now residing in Los Angeles).
As someone who saw Dirtybird member Justin Jay perform at Naga just a few weeks back, I can say with complete honesty and enthusiasm that Kill Frenzy’s set is going to be one you want to see this Friday. The sound, the visuals, and the vibes at Naga on a Friday night for some booty bass and groovy House music are hard to beat around Boston. Not only that, but openers Jaminic and Lux Groove will be on hand to warm things up and get your bodies moving.
