It’s been a good summer for Seattle-based electronic duo ODESZA, and it just got a little better with today’s release of their new single, “Say My Name,” featuring British vocalist Zyra. “Say My Name” is the latest and greatest of released singles off of ODESZA’s upcoming album, In Return, dropping on September 9. In typical ODESZA fashion, this track combines tribal vibes, live instruments, glitchy vocal melodies, and a futuristic bass-heavy chorus. Zyra’s vocals add a soulful and passionate element to the formula, haunting listeners into a trance to follow her instructions and dance with her. ODESZA has quickly climbed the ranks of the electronic music community, and after a slate of headlining festival appearances this summer, they have established themselves as kings of the underground. Once their highly-anticipated album drops in a few weeks, they will be touring North America to show off their chops to their rapidly-growing fan base.
