Calling all Dirtybirds! (I’ll never get tired of saying that.) It’s that time again: the Dirtybird Quarterly party is returning to Mezzanine this Friday and if you’re a fan of House music in the Bay Area then you already know this is where you need to be. It’s pretty amazing to be living in the city where one of my favorite record labels is based and with that comes the advantage of being able to see guys like Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Christian Martin, Worthy, and Ardalan on a very regular basis (all of whom will be spinning this Friday). Mezzanine is one of my favorite venues in San Francisco and it’s a widely acclaimed spot to see some of the best artists in the world. Dirtybird Quarterly parties happen at the beginning of each quarter at Mezzanine and though I missed the last one, I have no doubt it will be a night to remember on October 10th.
The MMIBTY Bay Area crew and our friends will be sending it over to Mezzanine for a night of booty-shaking funky beats and we invite as many people as possible to join us. Want even more reason to come down and party? Our writer Babak will be celebrating his birthday there and he picked a perfect event to do it at. So, if you’ve been following us long enough you already know how much we dig the Dirtybird sound and we will be looking forward to seeing you this weekend!
