How about a nice groovy Deep House tune to get your week started? No club bangers here, but some nice blissful Deep House perfect for winding down your night or for play by the pool. Our friend Boyd Barnes, who is a member of Unknown Associates out of Sydney/Wollongong, sent me this track today. It’s a remix Unknown Associates did with fellow Aussie Colour Castle (whose remix of “Eat Sleep Rave Repeat” I posted last year) of one of their favorite Madonna tracks “Hung Up”. The whole Unknown collective is celebrating its second birthday and they are preparing to drop their Dance Education Vol. 2 EP very soon.
I’m quite impressed by the work Boyd, Trent Elliott and their team do and they’ve only continued to get bigger and better. From the excellent House tracks to the live set I had the pleasure of seeing Boyd spin at the Holy Ship preparty this year, things seem to be going in the right direction for our friends down under!
