It’s no secret that my musical tastes have shifted a bit over the past few years, often favoring things on the deeper/funkier side of House music. Where I was once a huge Electro-House and Progressive-House fan, keeping things high-octane around 128bpm, more often than not these days I’m vibing with Deep House, G-House, and Nu Disco at lower tempos. But for my 27 years of existence I’ve always kept an open mind and where I spend a lot of time doesn’t necessarily mean I’ve limited myself to enjoyment in a certain genre (and that expands outside dance/electronic too). Enter today’s release of “I Feel For You” by Kid Massive, Sevag, and Alexandra Price. The tune is a massive Progressive House bomb released on Fedde le Grand & Funkerman’s label Flamingo. It’s Sevag’s biggest release yet, as the NYC-based producer joins forces with the talented Kid Massive for a dynamic tune in “I Feel For You”. Alexandra Prince is on deck for vocal duties and the songstress does a magnificent job of giving the track a vintage club banger feel.
Dance music fans might know Kid Massive most recently for his work with the Hoxton Whores on “Stand Up Miami”, a track that received huge responses for Miami Music Week 2015. Both Sevag and Kid Massive remixed the original track and with today’s release of “I Feel For You” Kid Massive also had the chance to put his styling on remix duty.
If you’re looking for a big tune that’s going to rock dance floors and pool parties this Summer, look no further than “I Feel For You” which I could definitely see making it into sets of people like Axwell, Kryder, Tom Staar, and any other big name Progressive House DJ.
