With almost twenty years of DJ experience, Hawtin has headlined some of the most prestigious festivals and events in club culture to date and continues to define rather than follow musical trends. His career takes him all over the world with tour dates in over 25 nations on average each year. This Techno legend is stomping down on San Francisco tomorrow night thanks to Blasthaus and the folks at Public Works – and I couldn’t be more excited. While Richie Hawtin boasts a tall slender appearance, his music packs a punch and he knows how to take the crowd on an epic journey. Sadly I’ve only ever seen Richie at the Carl Cox tent of Ultra Music Festival, but that makes his ENTER performance tomorrow night that much more appealing.
