Here’s a show any House junkie in the Bay Area needs to attend this Saturday night at Mezzanine, thanks to the folks at On&On. And here’s a show, as a self-proclaimed House junkie, I’ve had circled on my calendar for months. Eats Everything is a DJ and producer who needs very little introduction and a man whose larger-than-life presence is only superseded by his huge beats and affinity for moving dance floors all around the world. Patrick Topping is an up-and-coming producer and DJ who, like Eats Everything, is a UK House artist that easily gets bodies moving on the dance floor. He’s also on the label Hot Creations, which oozes funky House music (Jamie Jones). You may know Topping from his widely successful song produced with Green Velvet called “Voicemail” or his newer one also produced with Green Velvet called “When Is Now”.
I’ve seen both DJs perform on multiple occasions. If you ever get to see Eats Everything work the decks from a technical perspective, he does far more than just press play (as Justin Martin can attest to in this Eats Everything documentary). And no one set from Eats Everything is ever the same. Patrick Topping is someone I’ve seen twice in the past year and both times I couldn’t stop smiling while I boogied down. The locations were CRSSD in San Diego (2015) and Holy Ship 2016. If you want pure unadulterated House music, both guys will deliver.
A bonus is Saturday night Topping and Eats will be going b2b. This is word through the grapevine but I’d take it on good faith and expect a truly unique and fun show. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Oh… and one of the hottest songs of the moment (with a fantastic video)
