Dutch DJ/producer Lodewijk Fluttert, better known as Bakermat, has kicked off his North American, Great Vibe Tribe Tour. Known for his uplifting house style, Bakermat has been growing in the scene with tracks like “Games Continued,” a collaboration with Cape Town’s Goldfish, along with the soothing, emotional vocals from Miss Plassard, and now with the release of his new single “Baby” just in time for the tour. The new track features a rework of the of disco classic “Don’t Leave Me This Way” by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. With a soulful sample, he takes us on a beautiful piano and drums build up, just in time to blast the saxophone and instantly bring us the happy, beachy vibes that are certain to make you want to dance.
This weekend, the Great Vibe Tour is coming to San Francisco. Catch Bakermat this Saturday, April 1st, at 1015 Folsom for a circus infused performance, filled with good vibes, and much dancing. Afterwards, the tour makes its way to Austin and finishes up in Washington. Get tickets here.
