Know what’s always a good cure for the Monday blues? Some jackin’ House music. Today I’m honored and excited to present an exclusive premier from Golf Clap and their label Country Club Disco: The Schmidt‘s “Moving Up”.
Today’s premier comes ahead of a massive release by the Country Club Disco crew, which is their very first compilation album. Clubhouse Collection Vol. 1 drops this Friday on all major outlets and features 17 tracks by artists like Westend, VNSAA, Justin Jay, Codes, Aylen, Hood Rich, and many more.
The Schmidt’s track “Moving Up” is a perfect fit for the Clubhouse Collection as it exemplifies the driving four-on-the-floor sound that Golf Clap and co. have so carefully crafted and curated over the years. The Schmidt is no stranger to jackin’ Tech-House, producing many dance floor destroyers over the years and seeing releases on labels like This Ain’t Bristol, OKNF Collective, Audiophile XXL, House of Hustle, Build It Records, and many more. Having seen The Schmidt DJ many times around the Bay Area and even sharing the decks with him on a couple occasions, he knows how to get bodies moving with his high-energy House sets that feature driving bass lines and soulful melodies and vocals.
I’ve had a chance to sample the entire Clubhouse Collection Vol. 1 compilation dropping Friday and if you know what’s good for you, you will absolutely be grabbing that. Check out The Schmidt’s “Moving Up” premier below as well as a mix by Golf Clap themselves to hype up the LP and their Come Alive tour happening this fall and hitting 25+ dates. If you like what you hear show the artists some love!
