So our friends over at Gotta Dance Dirty are bringing Mumbai Science to Denver this weekend along with John Roman, GDD’s resident DJ ///Bones and London Dungeon. Now I have never had the pleasure of seeing Belgian duo Mumbai Science but given their weird and unique style (think Boys Noize), I have no doubt that this will be an interesting show. I have, however, witnessed ///Bones crushing it at the Snowball Festival here in Colorado this past winter and was very impressed. For those of you not familiar with Mumbai Science, their song “Gold” made a huge impact in 2010 and found it’s way into many DJ’s sets throughout the year. Their style is certainly strange but brings that alternative flavor to EDM that can be really refreshing. Not sure how much original music they will be performing but we will see next Thursday. I have never seen a show at the Jet Hotel but I am told that the venue only holds 250 people so be sure to get your tickets quick. Tickets are going for only $10 and it will be a rare opportunity to catch these guys. The MMIBTY crew will be there and it also happens to be the night of my birthday so I will be raging as best as I know how.
