This New Year’s eve the folks at Higher Society NYE and Club Vinyl are bringing out the heavy hitters for a night of polished House music featuring Lee Burridge and the Desert Hearts crew (Lee Reynolds, Pork Chop, Rybo, and Michael Rosa). Any House junkie knows this is a show not to be missed in a city that is low key thriving when it comes to dance and electronic music. While I personally associate the state of Denver with Bass Music, I’m always surprised by the level of talent and sheer amount of high-quality shows to see that hover in the House and Techno realm. I guess I should stop being surprised and start being delighted as this New Year’s eve presents an opportunity to see some of the best names in the game as we ring in 2018.
“This year Higher Society NYE is back for its second inaugural event as it moves to a new home at Club Vinyl. Four stories of entertainment await you. Come dressed to impress in your best steampunk themed gear: leather satchels, feathered hats, lace up boots, pinstripes, pocket watches, corsets, capes, and layers are all encouraged!
We will feature sounds from engineers Lee Burridge and some of the Desert Hearts crew (Lee Reynolds, Porkchop, RYBO, and Michael Rosa) for your listening pleasure. Expect surprising activations for both GA and VIP at the top of every hour leading up to the 2018 countdown. Performing artists and vendors await your arrival. View art in ways you’ve never seen before. Escape into an unrecognizable world and choose your journey to make the night all your own. Join us on New Year’s Eve for an interactive, time traveling experience as we head full force into a new realm.”
Denver is giving music fans a ton of options this New Year’s Eve but if you know what’s up you’ll definitely hit Vinyl for a night of thrills. See you there!
