So interestingly enough, as I was thinking to myself a few days ago, this has been a pretty slow week for music… WTF am I going to post on Sunday? Well the Swedish house gods have answered again! This week we were blessed with new content from summer superstar Avicii and his Swedish brethren Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso, joined by French house/trance mogul David Guetta. Now I’m hesitant to get you too excited because as it stands now, these are both previews and as we’ve seen lately in the house game way too much, the final versions many never sound the same. However, I really do like whats happening in both these tracks so far and am looking forward to when these cats can get through with their summer tours and get back to the studio to rip out a whole new set of house magic.
Let’s get into it here with our first track, the collaboration between Avicii and David Guetta. It remains to be seen whether this track will have some vocals coming or not but for now it stands as simple proof that my man Avicii’s still got it. David Guetta, kinda fallen off for me lately but I haven given up hope yet…

Next up, as Alesso continues to prove his worth in the Swedish house scene, he is joined by fellow Swede Sebastian Ingrosso for this fun track. This one has been popping up in SHM sets throughout the summer and just recently it was made public that the name of this track will be “Calling”. Here’s the best version I could get my hands on.

To even out all this awesome house, Diplo blessed us with a new downtempo dubstep remix he put together of Mavado’s song “Delilah” which showcases one of the many sinister (that’s right, I said it) production skills from his toolbox. Just goes to show how awesome he is and how excited I am to have another chance to see him live at Electric Zoo. If you like this track, be sure to check out his “Four Floors” remix from a while back.

Finally, Lazy Rich introduced this track to me through his awesome podcast “The Lazy Rich Show,” which is just a fucking awesome 2 hours of the best electro house, and I am loving this disco-electro which seems to be springing up quite a bit lately. Just love the way this song incorporates the best of both.

Bonus: The best remix I’ve heard of this song so far…
