Got a great new track here from Rusko and Mike Posner, a witty blend of hip-hop and electronica revealed this mellow banger entitled Shut Up. This is by no means the dubstep anthem type song that we have come to expect from Rusko, but unlike other attempts by rappers to spit on top of Rusko this track feels unified and it is clear the collaboration between the two artists was indeed there. Rusko manages to maintain his classic sound and lay a perfect foundation for Posner’s moderately aggressive lyrics to say the least. I love a good laid back Rusko track and as we all know they are few and far between, either way Posner got me laughing listening to this and Rusko had me dancin’ a little. Keep an eye out for the MMIBTY crew this weekend at Identity festivals Massachusetts stop, we will be out in full force this weekend, and without further ado…shut up.
