F.O.O.L: A Jack of All Trades

Swedish producer Rasmus Hermansen, also known as F.O.O.L. or FuckOurOrdinaryLives, has been on our radar for some time now. A recent visit to his SoundCloud page showed me that apparently he has been quite busy, releasing a slew of new tracks, for free as always, spanning a range of different electronic genres. What has always struck me about F.O.O.L. is his musical ear, which shines through in his intricate and delicately weaved productions. For instance, one of his newer tracks, “Fleya”, described as “Orchestral Electro”, combines the sounds of strings and choirs with subtle yet apparent bass and a fast-moving beat and synth line. If you like the stuff we’ve posted by Overwerk in the past, you’ll appreciate this guy’s talent. Here’s that track “Fleya” and his newest “Nighthum” which is quite the journey through melancholy beats and eerie basslines, appropriately described as “Walking Tempo Chill Out Glitch Electro”. Love it!
