Released what seems like a generation ago on the Watch the Throne album, Niggas in Paris has exploded onto the dance floor over the past month. You can catch the track at every dive bar and wannabe DJ’s set to some of the most well known producers’ sets in the world. America is 100% addicting to the vocals as they scream them at the top of their lungs whenever the track comes over the sound system. Where this complete infatuation came from is anybody’s guess, but what I can offer you are some bootlegs, remixes, and other stuff that will help this song get more played out than the recently awarded Rolling in the Deep track.
As the song infiltrates more of America’s heart through social media, radio spots, and at live shows it is important for us to stay ahead of the game with our musical selection. We don’t want to be viewed as another poser playing that orginal track that came out eight months ago. So here are two of my favorite mash-ups that will help keep your sets fresh and the girls dancing all night long. Both tracks have received support from such acts as Laidback Luke and many more.
Niggas with a Rattle (Miami Ski Team Bootleg)
Niggas Satisfaction in Paris (Chuckie Pass That Dutch Bootleg)
Now if mashups aren’t really your thing (even if they’re really, really good mashups) then maybe you enjoy the grimier side of things. Having such a huge presence in the world of music today, Niggas In Paris is off limits to no one. That’s why when two of my favorite dubstep producers took a stab at it, I knew I would love the indulgence.
