Welcome to another edition of our Survival Sunday weekly installment. This week was a pretty huge one for new releases: as Gballz showed us yesterday, Mat Zo’s new EP came out, Dillon Francis dropped his Something, Something Awesome EP and Diplo finally released his Express Yourself EP for free through Mad Decent’s SoundCloud. The boys from the Swedish House Mafia hosted another “takeover” during Pete Tong’s slot on BBC Radio 1, debuting their newest song “Greyhound” and their picks for the essential tunes of the moment plus a special mix from Deadmau5. With all that and a huge helping of tunes, this week was surely one for the books. Let’s get into the biggest tracks from this week.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, the duo who have been making a name for themselves in the EDM world for some massive collaborations and their live shows, released their newest feel-good house track this week. For “Momentum”, the boys teamed up with Regi for a poppy song that can only make you smile. Interested to hear how a song like this is going to fit into DJ sets.

Dubstep is not featured here as often as it could be but today I have new Knife Party that should get you bouncing. This track trades the bone-crushing sound we’re used to hearing for a more electro feel, reminicent of Wolfgang Gartner. Definitely a banger.
Labrinth – Last Time (Knife Party Remix)
In another interesting collaboration, David Guetta teamed up this time with Nicky Romero, who has been blowing up like crazy lately for his originals “Toulouse” and “Generatioin 303” and for the second time with Sia, who provided the vocals for Guetta’s hit “Titanium”. The result is another win for both producers: a melodic piano intro makes way for uplifting vocals and friendly beats.

Savoy has been in my list of some of my favorite producers these days. If you happened to watch the X Games a couple weeks back, you probably saw a motocross Go Pro commercial featuring a filthy dubstep track. Guess who? Savoy, after their success with “I’m In Need”, bring the noise again with their latest.
Make sure to check out all three EP’s I mentioned… You will not be disappointed…
