This song may be too old for the younger generation but if you remember this ridiculous song and even more ridiculous video, then you know what I mean when I say that this used to be the FUCKING JAM back in the day. In retrospect, I’m not sure what was to like, but there was something straight infectious about being blue (da ba dee…). I was introduced to this remix last night and I was immediately in love. Mister Perfect actually brings the original, which is undoubtedly lo-fi dated pop music, and updates it for today’s more discerning musical palette. The chorus retains a very poppy feel but the chopping and screwing brings in all the best parts without making it weird. Try syncing the remix up to the video. Hilarious.
