Trust me, I know what you’re thinking. Even as I make this post, I can’t believe I’m feeding the madness by even discussing this song. I’m not saying “Call Me Maybe” is a bad song, although I’m not so sure about the premise. In fact, it’s quite a good song. But it’s songs like this one (think “Rolling In The Deep” or “Somebody I Used To Know”) that end up getting remixed to death. To the point where I would reach for a gun at the mere sight of a new remix to the same goddamn song. I hope that isn’t the case with this jam, although only time will tell.
Now, all that being said, I’m posting this remix because I found it to be exceptionally worthy. The drop initially caught me kind off guard and I almost switched away from listening when I discovered how Reidiculous planned on bringing it all together later in the track. Thorougly impressed with what I’ve heard here. Now we all just have to wonder when TheFatRat and Tiesto will get their hands on this one…
