A while back, PrototypeRaptor made quite a splash on the internet with his Fustang-esque “Drive Hard”, which made its way to the #1 spot on Hype Machine. Since then, I hadn’t heard anything from him until I received an email from his camp a few days ago. In celebration of his birthday, he decided to release two tracks that he’s been working on and they both continue to show his incredible talent for producing both originals and remixes. This original “Jurassic Snack Pack” has that same sound that made our ears perk up when we last heard from him – fun, upbeat electro with influence of 8-bit sounds.

For his remix offering, PrototypeRaptor decided to take on Deadmau5’s latest tune “The Veldt” which many have said is a return to the Deadmau5 from years ago that we all initally fell in love with. PR takes the melodic prog tune and turns it into a trip-hop piece, complete with Daft Punk samples and all.
