It’s funny that I sit here writing this post, with this title, because it was not too long ago I wrote a near identical post on Dillon Francis‘ BBC moombahton 30 minute mix. The name of that post? Dillon Francis Makes Perhaps The Most Compelling Case For Moombahton Yet. Look familiar? It’s no coincidence. Now that moombahton has established itself and trap is the latest flavor of the week, who better than Flosstradamus, who basically sit in the same shoes in this trap movement as Dillon did in the moombah one, to ring in the genre with their own curated 30 minute mix. Sure, there are plenty of trap mixes out there (one of my favorites has to be Floss’ two hour BBC Diplo and Friends Mix) but to boil down the essence of the style to a concise 30 minute mix is just what anybody on the fence needed. I’ve been pretty sold since day one on this “real trap shiiit” but if you’re still skeptical, let Flosstradamus show you what it’s all about. In 30 minutes, you’ll be reconsidering.
