Ever since Australian producer PACES unleashed his “Angels” bootleg a while back, I saw instant promise in his solo production career (he is also associated with the duo Surecut Kids). His latest is an hour long mix featuring a literal Introduction of his dreamy style to the world, both in the form of some of his released and unreleased bootlegs, remixes and originals and by his stellar selection of tunes from artists like Disclosure, The XX and Parachute Youth. Originally posted by Purple Sneakers, an Australian music blog, they kindly reminded me that, as we say farewell to shorts and t-shirts, those down under are just now welcoming in the warm, summery vibes. I can’t think of a better way for us to collectively say our hello and goodbyes than with this stellar mix.
