Welcome to another Thursday edition of the Wednesday Weather Report. I apologize for my tardiness but a DJ friend of mine asked if I would join him at an event that he had at Higher Ground in Burlington VT. He was Djing for the local hip hop group Jacob Es and I was curious to see what this was all about. The event was actually quite successful, the show was sold out and there was a really high level of energy. The whole crowd knew all the lyrics and seemed to be really digging everything the guys did on stage, unfortunately the average birth age of the crowd was probably around ’96 or ’97 just to give you an example. Anyway the show took place during the time I had set aside to write up my WWR and I had to wait until today to jump on the blogosphere and share some tunes with all of you.
I found the silver lining to this late WWR because today when I opened up my Soundcloud dashboards I found some really good music that is so new a few were released only hours ago, now aren’t you special.
