Talk about bringing back memories. Requiem for A Dream has to be one of the strangest movies of all time but perhaps the most memorable part of the movie is the emotional soundtrack, headed up by the unmistakable theme song “Lux Aeterna” (or maybe ass-to-ass…). Belgium’s DJ Yankee flips it with some trap drums but it truly is more of an edit than a full-out remix. This edit adds depth to the already deep song and makes it even more of a head trip. It’s emotionally charged, imaginative and thought provoking.
