After playing in front of a sold out crowd at Red Rocks this past summer opening for Pretty Lights with the rest of the Pretty Lights Music family, Gramatik has announced a special Denver show where he will headline The Fillmore Auditorium. For this Fillmore show Gramatik is actually going to have to fly back to Colorado between dates in New Jersey and New York while on tour with Bassnectar. This only speaks volumes about his love for his hometown, but also the unrelenting love the fans have for him here in Colorado. And as a treat to the fans he has brought a very special guest by the name of Talib Kweli to help rock the Fillmore for the first time. We expect to see at least one collaboration between the two before the night is over.
For those who are very late to the party, Denis Jasarevic aka Gramatik is a New York-based producer who has two releases on the Pretty Lights Music label, Beatz & Pieces Vol. 1 and#DigitalFreedom. This guy is a huge proponent of free-everything on the internet! His style of electronic is dynamic enough to let you bang and groove at the same time. His most recent release, #DigitalFreedom, is a multi-genre EP that embodies the variety of his catalog thus far.
With 10,000 fans still buzzing from the amazing summer showcase, this show is sure to be packed. Although, it is at the Fillmore, which fits about 4,000 people, so odds are it very could well sell out.
