Two of my favorite producer/live act combos who have remained consistent over the years are Gramatik and Big Gigantic. I was absolutely floored to see that they had collaborated on a new track called “Better Believe It Now”, out today on your favorite streaming music service.
“Better Believe It Now” speaks to both artists’ strengths and is a beautiful hybrid of jazz, funk, glitch, and bass music. There’s a wonderful sax solo found in the breakdown thanks to Big G’s Dom Lalli before an epic build-up and danceable halftime second drop.
This track is as good as I thought it was going to be – perhaps better – and that’s a testament to two veterans in the game who have been doing something unique since their inceptions.
