Ah, a fresh indie trap remix from the rising stars gLadiator. If I had to pick one thing I think trap is good for, it would be jazzing up indie tunes and giving them a little more danceability. I couldn’t get a hold on the original to compare but the LA-based trap duo uses the fun poppy female vocals to their advantage throughout. The drop is wide open and relies on the snappy drums and minimal piano and synth elements. Overall extremely fun and, while maybe not right for a club scene, is a great late-night afterparty tune.
gLadiator also just released an originals LP for free through their Facebook page to celebrate hitting 20K fans on Facebook. It’s quite the giveaway to be sure, as it’s full of 11 tracks of trap goodness and even features collaborations with fellow trap-master Luminox and disco-house duo Bastille.
