After some aggressive NYE pre-gaming we arrived at the awesome venue that is the Colorado Convention Center just in time to catch Flosstradamus, well half of Flosstradamus. Unfortunately it appears that @joshtradamus was spending the holidays at home with his family according to instagram, either way though Autobot put in some serious work and got the crowd on their feet. After Floss I had a moment to swing over to the Global Dance Stage and catch a bit of Krewella tearin’ it up. With dancers hanging from the ceiling and enough lasers to blind the crowd the Global Dance stage most definitely had it going on.
As eleven o’clock rolled around it was time for Mimosa to start what would be an epic hour and a half long set bringing us all into the new year. We were all honored to witness a batch of new Mimosa tracks drop, including his brand new remix of the 2 Chainz single I’m Different. After an amazing set from Mimosa including an epic countdown and a plethora of future trill sounds it was time for ATB and Zeds Dead!

Zeds Dead took the Sub Mission stage with guns blazing running through track after track and even reaching back into their collection with songs like Coffee Break, an MMIBTY favorite from 2011. Although I found myself so engaged with the guys of Zeds Dead I completely lost track of time and missed out on ATB. Fortunately for us Jessica McDermott of Early Bird // Night Owl was able to snap a couple photos for MMIBTY and made it very clear to me that I had missed out on quite a set. Below we are proud to release a live recording from Ecotek’s opening set at Decadence, I unfortunately missed Denvers own Ecotek by a few minutes and definitely have some regrets after hearing his set, and we would like to thank Global Dance for letting MMIBTY release the recording. All in all the night was a huge success, I couldn’t think of a better way to welcome in the new year and I want to give a huge thanks to everyone at Global Dance, Triad Dragons, and Sub Mission for all your continued support in 2013, Cheers!
