Walter Murphy was a great American songwriter who rose to fame with his disco adaption of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony when disco was truly in its’ hayday. The classic has held up throughout the years and has been featured from the dance floor to the big screen proving its’ timelessness over and over again. Many DJ’s have enjoyed using it in their sets as everybody knows how to boogie down under the big disco ball. Flight Facilities needed it in their set too as they are doing mixes for each decade the first being released last week encompassing years ’72-’82 (featured below). The next mix is due out next week, stay tuned!
