Hello everyone, hope you are ready to get Deep in the mix with another edition of the underground weekly, your source to get the freshest techno/deep house/tech house mixes out there.
It was incredibly tough to pick out the top 3 mixes for this week. To give you some perspective, mixes from Carl Cox and Dubfire did not make the cut. Anyhow, without further delay here are the top mixes for the week – *TRACKLISTS (if available) AFTER THE JUMP!*:
3. Guy Gerber and Seth Troxler bring you this extremely groovy mix from BPM festival, this one has beach written all over it. The first half of the mix is a very smooth progressive house vibe (think Digweed not Alesso) and the next half of the mix gets a little more underground with elements of techno infused.
2. Booka Shade bring you an hour of their unique electro infused sound of tech house. This mix for dance department is an excellent example of how to seamlessly mix while largely maintaining a consistent bassline. Check it out yourself and provide verdict.
1. Mark Knight brings you 3 hours of his big room tech sound straight from Playa Del Carmen played out at the BPM festival 2013. The Toolroom records honcho plays possibly one of his most epic mixes which transport you from the sound of deep house to progressive to big room tech house!
