Santa Barbara natives Ethan and Josie aka CANDYLAND began producing their own original songs back in April of 2012. After becoming the first act to win back-to-back Beatport remix contests (Skrillex “Make it Bun Dem” & Bingo Players “Rattle”) and racking up over 1.3 Million Soundcloud plays, they released their debut album Bring the Rain on SPINNIN RECORDS earlier this year (Jan 21st 2013).
Candyland continues to pave their own lane bridging the gap between trap, dubstep, and house music with every original/remix they release. Our good friends over at The Oxford Group coming in HOTT once again in the month of April and hosting this duo at Rumor Nightclub in Boston on Thursday April 18, 2013. If anyone was at their last “Run The Trap” show in late December 2012, you should have an idea of the madness to unfold yet again.
