More trap from the UK? Yes please. TNGHT dropped another banger called ‘ACRYLICS’ as they like stating in all caps – which I totally condone just because they have such big sound. Producers, Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, are going full metal jacket mode on this track with an extremely eerie build up, along with some synthy snares and heavy 808s. It’s definitely different and took a few listens to really get into but I think it’s a fairly well produced track. Although it is much different from their hit ‘Higher Ground’ that has been played at almost every festival/concert I’ve been to this year, hell – it was even in an Adidas commercial. I guess this is just furthering evidence that trap is receiving some major recognition and growing even more. Whether you like it or not, I think it’s here to stay. Dun, dun, dunnnn.
