Over the past few years, smaller curated music festivals have been blooming all over the country, each creating different and innovative experiences for your not-so-typical music lover. Newbie to the scene, Northern Nights Music Festival is only in its 6th year, the festival “offers attendees a city-meets-country, culturally-fused experience of music, swimming, yoga, cannabis and glamping at one of the world’s most stunning outdoor festival venues” Cook’s Valley Campground on the Humboldt / Mendocino County Line.

This year the festival will be bringing out Bay Area’s beloved Dirtybird crew (Justin Martin, Walker & Royce, Ardalan, Worthy b2b Option4) to set sail to the house and techno ship, and it doesn’t stop there. This year’s lineup has compiled a great range of musicality, with confirmed presence of Mr. Carmack, Sage the Gemini, Brasstracks, Thomas Jack, 90+ additional artists. The Brownies and Lemonade team will also be making the trip to Humboldt County for a special B&L all stars set, and you can count on the Redwood Forest to deliver an unforgettable experience with many other legends of the music world.

NNMF is also partnering up this year with The Emerald Cup to bring [legally] high  vibes to the outstanding Redwood Forest, with the mission to provide attendees with a “culturally-fused, elevated experience at one of the world’s most stunning outdoor festival venues”. A festival that is paving the way for more culturally and musically immersed experiences, you wouldn’t want to miss the magic that happens in the northern forest.

Under the towering California Redwoods and on the banks of the South Fork Eel River (Mendocino / Humboldt County Line), NNMF will take place the weekend of July 20-22, 2018. Tickets are available online or can be picked up at the following Mendocino/Humboldt County local retailers: One Log Tree Lounge Dispensary, Area 101, Humboldt Republic, Wildberries Marketplace, and People’s Records.
