Because Pleasurekraft are one of my favorite Tech-House acts out there I had no choice but to immediately post their 2013 promo mix which came out today. It’s really unfortunate that the guys don’t put out more mixes, but when they do it’s always worth the wait. This one, titled “From the Deep to the Peak”, will have to hold you over for the rest of 2013 because it says on their SoundCloud page “enjoy this one and only promo mix for the year”. What I can say is the mix starts real deep, with Claude Vonstroke’s masterpiece “Aundy” which has one of the sickest bass lines in dance music. From there things stay pretty Deep through most of the mix, eventually picking up to a slightly faster Tech-House vibe. I was a bit surprised to see Pleasurekraft’s newer tracks like “Korea” and “Coltrane” not included, but I’m also glad the track list wasn’t predictable either. If you see the boys listed at a venue or festival near you make sure you go and see them!
