Russ Chimes writes dance music masterpieces. Well, that’s my opinion anyways. The British producer has a sound that takes House music and adds elements of Soul and Funk and makes me smile every time. Chimes’ music is as close to the epitome of Summertime windows-down-volume-up as you can get, that makes me want to drive into the sunset with a joint in my mouth and a dime riding shotgun. Chimes’ version of House music isn’t your redundant build-up –> drop –> break (repeat 2x) that has taken over main stages these days, but it’s actual musical composition (some may consider it Indie Dance). “Turn Me Out” is Russ Chimes’ latest effort that has been in his DJ sets and on UK radio. Originally today was supposed to be the official release but it looks like it got pushed out to May 20th. This one is too good folks, just turn it on and you’ll see. And please do yourself a favor and check out his Expressway Mix series because they are some of the best mixes out there past or present. This one receives “in case you missed it status” because it’s been circling the internet and airwaves for quite some time now, but its release is finally imminent.

BONUS:
When listening to the Expressway Mix Pt. 2 today, I revisited Russ Chimes’ remix of his own track “Targa”. The original vocals remain intact but what he did with the new bass line really cranked things up a notch. Definitely keep this one in your rotation!
