The Chainsmokers are constantly spitting fire and let me tell you, their new track that they just dropped is some groovy ass shit. This Indie Progressive House remix called, “Trying To Be Cool (The Chainsmokers Remix)” by Phoenix is super chill and energetic at the same time. I love it and I’m sure you guys will too. These guys obviously have a lot of talent and don’t even want a single cent from any of us for all of their hard work and genius tracks! They offer a ton of free downloads that you can find on their Facebook page, as well as their Soundcloud. Their main focus is to get their fans to download their jams for free, which will domino into them sharing their awesome stuff with a friend, and they’ll hopefully continue that cycle with even more friends. Soon, their fan population will be skyrocketing through all that cigarette smoke and high above where they started. I think that’s a beautifully humble way to want to get your music out there and reach all the ears that are willing to listen. They’ve certainly got the right idea with how music should be spread in mind; free, moves with the motion of the ocean, and is created to make you feel good. The fact that their taste in music is comprised of their love of remixing a lot of indie/rock tracks and making them a lot more energized and cool, certainly excites a hipster feel, but in a good way. Word from their landlord about the song, “This is your final noise complaint warning, don’t fuck with me.” Roll down the windows, turn this shit up, and enjoy the freedoms we’re blessed with, like this really good track by The Chainsmokers!
