Paris & Simo + Merk & Kremont Get Hot with Tundra

tundra

Out today is the long-awaited collaboration between Canadian duo Paris & Simo and Italian duo Merk & Kremont called “Tundra”. If you’ve never heard of either of these artists it’s quite okay, as they are up-and-comers relatively new to the scene but who are making big splashes and already have the support of  Avicii, Nicky Romero, Hardwell, Afrojack, Fedde le Grand, Tiesto, Bob Sinclair, Hardwell, Max Vangeli and many others. Speaking of Fedde le Grand, he’s the sole reason I’ve been aware of this tune for what seems like months. Not only did FLG release “Tundra” on his label Flamingo Recordings but he would frequently play it on his awesome Dark Light Sessions radio shows.

“Tundra” is a high-energy, unique-sounding House track that can fit into most DJ sets whether they’re Progressive House, Big Room House, or even Tech-House. There aren’t any vocals to speak of, which I’m fine with, because it allows the listener to focus on the fun and groovy drop. Both acts have a slew of new material out there so I encourage you to spend time on the Paris & Simo SoundCloud page as well as the Merk & Kremont SoundCloud page.
