K Theory has become synonymous with fusing the bridge from hip-hop with the growing popularity of electronic music. The trio based out of the Bay Area recently released a massive remix of Jay-Z‘s Heaven that has critics jumping up and down. The group not only has released music via Owsla‘s imprint, but have created their own label that is exposing some great new artists in the emerging market of electronic hip-hop that they have helped pave the way. A few days ago they dropped their newest rendition of a top twenty track by heavily sampling Drake‘s Hold On, We’re Going Home. K Theory creates an anthem fit for any glitch hop fan as the track is not only heavy, but is upbeat and stays true to the original.
