We first exposed you to LBCK about a month ago when they dropped Call My Name, their first single of their upcoming debut album. Well finally The Goods has dropped in its’ entirety, and this nine track LP does not disappoint! The album plays like a story line with heavy influences from the soul of the sixties and the funk that followed. Tracks like Keep it Burnin’ and Make it Funky take you through a time machine dropping you onto the disco dancefloor where the disco ball is spinning and the flared pants are flying high. The energy and effort that Alex Noblé & Luigi III, aka the Long Beach City Kids (LBCK), have put into this album is extraordinary. All of the tracks are original works that are a breathe of fresh air and should be enjoyed before the summer comes to an end.
