As part of Bijou Nightclub‘s flourishing Guest House Tuesdays (#guesthousetuesdays) they’re bringing British Progressive House duo Third Party to town this Tuesday, October 1st. The guys and girls at Bijou have brought in names like Thomas Gold and Danny Avila as part of Guest House Tuesdays and Third Party will be returning after their last gig at the club back in April. If you don’t know much about Third Party, they hail from Essex, UK and have been riding a wave of success since gaining the ear of Steve Angello with their mega track “Release” (which to me sounds like something Eric Prydz could have produced). The structure of its distinctive and evocative sound also proved them to be highly technical and full of feeling; “Release” was put out for consumption under Angello’s Size Records. Its subsequent success and popularity meant it found its way onto DJ mix albums and Tiesto Club Life 193. 2011 was a break-through year for Third Party on the big stage, kicking off in March with the massive jump to the Swedish House Mafia’s Masquerade Motel in Miami. In fact, Third Party have been associated with the SHM guys ever since teaming up with Steve Angello, and they even remixed SHM’s “Save the World” in pretty big fashion (listen HERE). The guys in Third Party have been producing, remixing, and touring nonstop over the past few years and they’re certainly making a name for themselves as one of the premier House acts out there. This weekend they play at Size in the Park. This is Steve Angello’s second year of putting on a show in Central Park that features artists from his label. Then it’s off to Bijou for some fun!
