shoe me love solidisco

A new twist on a House classic? Yes please. Our homies Solidisco, who have made a name for themselves with a unique blend of Disco and House music, have truly seen a fast rise since getting their start out of Buffalo New York. I remember listening to these guys years ago when they were releasing tracks a bit under the radar. These days? They’re seeing releases on Fool’s Gold, Ultra, Mixmash, Get Right, and probably several others in the future. Steve Angello & Laidback Luke dropped the incredible “Show Me Love” back in 2009, based off the 1993 gem originally by Robin S. But today Solidisco unveiled their version of the House classic (on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records) and the drop is loaded with horns and feel-good-funk. It’s great to hear that despite Solidisco’s quick rise to the top their sound has remained true and still remains to call Disco to the forefront of House music.

“In the true Mixmash manner, we’ve reached out to a couple of talents who were able to do the job properly,” says Laidback Luke. “Show Me Love’ is now ready for 2015. Hope you’ll enjoy!”

Solidisco’s remix can be streamed now exclusively via Spotify, and will be released on Beatport and iTunes through Mixmash Records later this month.

While you’re at it, subscribe to Solidisco’s “Hustle Radio” on iTunes or via SoundCloud – they are pretty fucking awesome.
