This is not just some creative take on “Holy Grail” here people. Columbian producer Y4nn has come in extremely hot with this remix of the single off Jay-Z‘s latest album Magna Carta, Holy Grail, which features the illustrious vocals of Justin Timberlake himself. We’re not here to discuss the strengths and pitfalls of Sean Carter’s latest album, though I’m sure you all have your opinions, both on the album as a whole and this song in particular. I happen to have always thought of “Holy Grail” to be one of the strongest tracks on the LP but I never expected it to get this beefy. Y4nn’s take is some weird trap stuff and definitely breaks out of the mold. The track opens with a dark and deep intro leading a wild, whistling beat. What impresses me the most is that this track never stays in one place for long, keeping it an interesting listen from start to finish.
